FIREFIGHTERS were called to a kitchen fire in Sale.
At around 1:30pm on November 1, fire engines from Sale, Altrincham and Stretford attended the blaze in Wolseley Road.
Crews wore two breathing apparatus, forced entry into the property and extinguished the flames using one hose reel and one positive pressure ventilation fan.
The cause of the fire was accidental and down to food being left unattended on the cooker.
Crews were in attendance for just over one hour.
They said: "Most house fires start in the kitchen so please help us to keep you and your family safe by making sure that your cooking is NOT left unattended."
