NEW pupil ‘Norris the Zebra’ is settling into his home at Sale High School.
Norris came to the school after a summer placement in Sale Moor, where he and his friends brightened the town centre.
As part of the Sale Arts Zoo, Two by Two, the animals were created in celebration of the life of Chester Zoo founder and former Sale resident George Mottershead.
Norris was sponsored by Sale Moor Community Partnership and We are Sale Moor CIC and was decorated by Jamie Lawson and SMCP users with an eye catching phoenix design.
With the zebra being named after Norris Road, it is fitting that he has made the move to Sale High School.
After a stint in the school reception greeting visitors on their arrival he has settled into his new home in the school library. Norris has since featured in the school media club’s bulletins, given advice on the ‘book of the week’ and informed students on news and activities throughout the school.
