CAN you help Olive find a loving home this Christmas?

Olive, who is around eight years old, came to Society for Abandoned Animals (SAA) last Christmas after being found as a stray in a garden. She is the second longest cat resident at the society.

Sadly, little Olive was completely bald because of a flea allergy but after much love and care, her hair started to grow back.

Unfortunately she had a few patchy areas but tests have offered no answers as to why.

Ruth Hastie, SAA fundraiser, said: “We have come to the conclusion that she is over grooming owing to the stress of staying here. We know that she loathes other cats but she adores people. Olive needs to be in a single cat household preferably without young children - over 10s will be fine. Please help us find a home for her before this coming Christmas.”

If you can help Olive, contact the rescue centre on 0161 973 5318.

SAA will be hosting a Christmas Fair at Greenfields Church, Primrose Ave, Urmston from 12-4pm on Saturday November 19. Admission is £1 for adults, 50p for children.
