GREEN-fingered pupils have been busy in the 'Grow Zone' at Firs Primary School, Sale.
They harvested a bumper crop of courgettes and carrots, which the children then peeled and chopped for the school's annual soup day.
Members of the school community had the chance to purchase the soup after school and guess the weight of an enormous home-grown pumpkin. The money raised will be going to the school's next green-fingered project.
