THE Tri-ang Society are holding an exhibition of model trains and toys at St Martin’s Community Hall, Ashton on Mersey, on Saturday September 24.
The Tri-ang Society was started 20 years ago by Miles Rowland, an electrician from The Avenue, Sale.
Miles, 53, said: “Although Tri-ang is still being made in China, we restrict ourselves to the early 70s.”
He has been fascinated with model railways since, when he was four, his dad bought a train set - for himself.
Members from all over the country will attend the exhibition which is open from 10.30 – 4.30 but all are welcome to come.
Refreshments will be served. Admission is £3.50 adults, £2 children and £5.00 for a family ticket.
