YOUNG Sale ninjas gave a new meaning to the karate block as they used their fighting spirit to help launch a new adventure at Legoland Discovery Centre this week.

From Saturday September 17, the Trafford Centre attraction will transform into the world of Ninjago to celebrate the brand new Lego Ninjago adventure Day of the Departed.

On Wednesday September 14, skilled young ninjas from Sale Dojo helped to get everyone in the Ninjago spirit by breaking Lego blocks like seasoned pros.

Ian Swain, of Sale Dojo, said “After being involved in this great event last year we literally jumped at the opportunity. It’s such a fun way to educate people about this amazing activity and our little ninjas had a fantastic time performing for visitors on the day and demonstrating their talents.”

Throughout autumn, families and children can build their own Lego Ninjago Eye Mask, take part in the Lego Ninjago Laser Maze Challenge, and build a Ninjago vehicle in the Lego Racers Build and Test area before challenging their friends and family to a race.

Visitors can also join a Ninjago build takeover at MINILAND, get involved in a character hunt and meet one of the stars of the Ninjago series, ‘Kai’, the Red Fire Ninja, who will be at Legoland Discovery Centre every day until the October 20.

Dean Feasby, marketing manager of Legoland Discovery Centre, said: “This is such an exciting, immersive adventure for our visitors. We have so many incredible activities going on this month, and the amazing ninjas from Sale Dojo were the best way to kick off a great event.”
