SALE Festival is in full swing - and there are still a host of fun-filled attractions for all the family to look forward to.

The event runs to June 26 with activities including dance, drama, and comedy.

The Mike Hall Jazz Quartet will perform with the Sale Grammar School Swing Band at Waterside Arts Centre at 7.30 on June 17.

Also on June 17 there is a chance to 'Look back with Laughter', when Susan Craig will talk about 27 years of being married to Mike, a BBC producer and comedy scrip writer.

She will talk about some of the many comedians they entertained in their home, including Ken Dodd, Morecambe and Wise, Harry Worth and Jimmy Tarbuck. This takes place at the Chambers, Sale Waterside Theatre at 7.30pm on June 17.

Other attractions are:

Spend an evening with Sale Flower Club and Ashton and Sale Floral Art Group on Thursday June 16, at Sale Waterside for a floral presentation by Nigel Whyles at 7.30pm.

Cadmans Showcase - many styles of dance will be performed by class pupils aged three and above, by competition level dancers and show teams. Sale Waterside Arts centre, 3pm on June 18.

At 8pm, Cadmans presents 'An Evening with Jayson keeler; Hollywood to Broadway'.

Ashton on Mersey Village MarkeT will be held from 10am on June 18.

Sale Chamber Orchestra will perform at St Paul's Church, Springfield Road, Sale on June 18.

June 19 - Sale Lions Charity father's Day Fete and Family Fun Day, at Worthington Park, from 12 noon. Free entrance.

At 11am on June 19 there will be a mass of All Nations at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Hope Road, Sale, from 11am.

There is a chance to limber up with 'Yoga in Walkden Gardens', on Tuesday, June 21, 6pm to 7pm, and then every Tuesday until September 6. This is free but donations welcome, and it will take place only in dry, fine weather.
