SALE’S Dakota Ditcheva is not only taking the boxing world by storm, but gracing the pages of world renowned lifestyle magazines.

The 17-year-old hit headlines last week for clinching the British crown for Muay Thai boxing.

She came out on top in the battle for the ISKA 50.5kg British Champion title on May 17 at the Tanko Main Event at the USN Arena, Bolton.

Dakota’s success has not gone unnoticed outside of the ring.

She is featured in the May edition of Elle magazine, headlining an article about inspiring female athletes.

Her feature sits a page after an interview with superstar Beyonce.

“The media interest in what I have been doing and achieving is so exciting, I actually can’t believe I’m being featured in the likes of Elle magazine – it amazes me,” said Dakota.

“Winning the British title at The Tanko Main Event against a much older, more experienced fighter was a big step up for me but proves I am ready to compete with the best in the country, despite being only 17. I have won loads of titles as a junior, but this was my first as an adult so it was a career highlight for me. I can’t wait to win many more in the future, this is just the beginning.”
