A 'KICK out Cancer' charity concert is to be held at St Anne's Church, Sale.

Beth White, who grew up in Sale, is holding the event on Wednesday May 11 at 7.30pm, for a second year.

It is to raise money for Cancer Research UK's Kids and Teenscampaign, which will fund the research for kinder, more gentle treatments.

The month of May marks the anniversary of Beth's mum's passing, three years ago. Working with close friend Simon Murray (Royal Northern College of Music graduate and award-winning musical theatre director) the pair feel they can make a positive difference using their musical talents to raise money for causes that work to help find cures, and support those in need.

Calling on the talents of friends and family, the concert will feature some of Manchester's leading musicians and singers, performing music from classical to musical theatre.

Having both had close friends and family battle cancer, Beth and Simon hope the money raised will benefit future generations.

There will be cakes and refreshments on sale in the interval alongside a raffle.

Tickets are £5 and can be booked by calling 07765221402. Please leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible. Alternatively email beth.jane@hotmail.co.uk stating the number of tickets you require.

You may wish to purchase tickets on the door, however, if possible try to book in advance as there is already great interest in the event.
