IT was cause for double celebration for EAM Care Group last month, officially opening their new Trafford hub on their 10th anniversary.

EAM Care Group officially opened EAM Lodge Trafford, a five-bed nursing home in Partington for young people with complex health needs, last month. The launch event was also an opportunity for the group to celebrate a decade in operation.

Medical professionals and supporters gathered at the new facility on Manchester Road to toast to the group’s future. The High Sheriff of Greater Manchester Lady Joy Smith, performed the honours of cutting the ribbon, with help from resident Elizabeth Parry.

Owner Elizabeth Marland said “At EAM Care Group, we are a family business with family values; we believe that providing care is more than simply ‘looking after’ people, it is about involving them and their families in the decisions about the care they receive.

“We create an environment that combines high quality care with fun and enjoyment. We are delighted that so many guests joined us to celebrate our 10th Birthday.

“We are particularly grateful to the High Sheriff of Greater Manchester, Lady Joy Smith for officially opening our new EAM Lodge Trafford.”
