A MAN who escaped prison and has links to north Trafford is being hunted by police.
Lewis Sinclair, 33, is yet to be tracked down after absconding from Thorncross Prison on February 24 2016, where he was serving a sentence for assault.
Sinclair is known to have links to Partington and Urmston.
Police Sergeant Scott Braithwaite of GMP’s South Manchester Division said: “Lewis Sinclair is wanted after absconding from Thorncross Prison and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have information about where he is.
“I would like to stress that anybody found harbouring him is committing a criminal offence and will face prosecution.”
Anybody with information should contact police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously.
