HALE Barns Christmas Market has given a boost to the area.
The event - sponsored by Fox Restaurant in Hale Barns - raised £8,000 which will be used to benefit community projects.
Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lauren Simon cut the ribbon to launch the market with the help of the Mayor of Trafford, Cllr Judith Lloyd, to launched a festive weekend of fun.
Attractions included a giant snow globe, live music performances throughout, fantastic gift hall, a wonderful outdoor food and drink market filled with sourdough pizza, Caribbean food, waffles, chocolates, cakes and treats for all the family.
Hale Barns Christmas Market will be back next year.Other events lined up for Hale Barns in 2017 include a summer outdoor cinema, a series of live concerts and a spring ball.
