A GANG of eight teenagers pounced on a boy and robbed him in Hale last night.
The gang walked up to the victim and his friends in Altrincham Bowling Green, in Ashley Road, at around 6pm on Tuesday August 9.
Four of the teens grabbed hold of the victim, demanding to know what was in his pockets, holding a sharp object to his stomach.
They searched him and stole his mobile phone from his pocket.
The victim’s friends ran off when he was being searched and they were chased by the gang.
They all made off down Ashley Road and up onto Leigh Road.
The leader is described as mixed race, 6ft, medium build around 16/17 years with a scar/shaved right eyebrow, wearing full grey Nike Joggers and hooded top.
Another assailant is described as a white male, small build, 12/13 years old with blonde hair.
A third is described as black, 5f8 tall, large build around 16/17 years with short black shaven head, wearing a black hooded top.
