WORK has begun on a new £9million residential development in Bowdon – complete with a 2,600 sq ft duplex penthouse which boasts its own gym, sauna and library.

The Victorian building which formerly housed The Transform Group, in Green Walk, is set to be transformed into a multi-million pound 15,700 sq ft housing scheme.

It will comprise of seven apartments, including the penthouse, two cottages, two semi-detached townhouses and a detached townhouse and is due for completion in June 2017.

The developer, Real Estate Investment Partnerships Ltd, has just launched the luxury penthouse to the market, which comprises three bedrooms and four bathrooms and is split across two floors.

The Highbank scheme is one of several being launched by Real Estate across Cheshire, including Alexandra House, in Ashley Road, Altrincham.

Chrome Services has been handed the £3million construction contract for the development.
