WITH Spring just around the corner, three Hale boutiques jumped at the chance to show off the season’s new fashion whilst raising money for charity.
Vicki Allen, See-Saw and Vanilla clubbed together to create the Leap into Spring Fashion Show Dinner, in aid of The Christie Charitable Fund and Trafford Age UK.
The sold-out event, which was in collaboration with Trafford Council, took place at Trafford Town Hall on Monday February 29.
More than 100 guests attended, with a fashion show provided for by the three boutiques and catering, hair and make-up by Trafford College students.
“It’s the first time the event has been held and due to its success and the feedback we have have had, we are already talking and planning one for early next year,” said Karen Flavell, co-owner of Vicki Allen.
“For all the students and the support we received from Trafford College, the show owners would like to say a huge thank-you and in particular to Patricia Young, who is a councillor at Trafford, as she was instrumental in the organisation of the event.”
