Harmony Multicultural Association marks International Women's Days
BOWDON-based Harmony Multicultural Association is inviting everyone to family fun days to celebrate International Women's Day.
Admission is free to the events, which are being held at Altrincham Library on March 19 and 26, 12 noon to 3.30pm.
There will be a display of photographs, press reports highlighting women's achievements.
The organisers would like people to recite poems about law or injustice at the 'meet and treat' events.
They also want three women and three girls to dress in their traditional costumes, such as English, Indian, Jamaican, Chinese or Japanese.
The events will help mark 105 years of International Women's Days. Admission is free.
