EXPERTS will be hosting an afternoon talks focused on healthy eating for elderly people at a Hale Barns care home., on Tuesday 8th and Thursday 10th March at Sunrise of Hale Barns.

The events, at Sunrise of Hale Barns at 2pm on March 8 and 10, are part of Taste of Sunrise, an annual national campaign which will see Sunrise communities across the country celebrate the importance of nutritious food for older people.

As people age, their nutritional needs change as the metabolism slows down, and tastes may also differ.

The events will also give guests the opportunity to meet Sunrise’s chefs and hear some of their trade secrets.

Guests will also be able to sample and find out more about the new crockery that has been specifically rolled out in all Sunrise communities to boost the ease of food and drink consumption for residents living with dementia and arthritis.

All welcome - for more information call Sunrise of Hale Barns on 0161 980 9500.
