RESIDENTS are being asked their views about a plan to redevelop a historic Bowdon church.
A scheme has been unveiled to convert Trinity Presbyterian Church on Delamer Road into nine flats.
Paul Butler Associates are marketing the application proposal.
The company says it is aiming to a achieve a “sympathetic restoration of the church with a use that will secure its long term future, ensure the retention of historic/architectural features and minimise impact on the building’s fabric.”
The public consultation takes place at the church today (Thursday, April 3), from 5.30 - 7pm, all welcome.
The church is listed and was started in 1867 and completed in 1872, to serve the Scottish population of the area.
The site was recently owned and used by the United Reformed Church, who then rented it out to the Baptists, as they had run out of room and their church was being refurbished.
It was then sold and is now deconsecrated.
