RAF Air Cadets gave a helping hand to shoppers in a Sale supermarket by offering to pack their bags.
Cadets from 145 (Altrincham & Hale) Squadron helped shoppers at Sainsbury’s on New Year’s Eve as they raise funds for a busy year of activities.
Gil Gage, Squadron Chairman, said: “We are grateful to Sainsbury’s in Sale for allowing us to help their customers and thank them for their generosity.
“This year is an exciting one for the squadron with trips to air shows and RAF bases planned, as well as camps and an educational visit to Belgium to visit war graves in this the 100th anniversary year of the beginning of the First World War.”
There is an open evening on Thursday, February 13, at the Squadron HQ, Mainwood Road, Timperley from 7.30pm to 9pm, for anyone interested in joining the Air Cadets
