A signalling fault at Cornbrook station has caused great delays for tram passengers

TRAM passengers are facing rush-hour delays due a signalling problem on the Metrolink.

Services on the Altrincham and South Manchester line are currently suspended, causing great delays.

The problem is due to a signalling fault at Cornbrook station.

Passengers are advised to use the 263, 85 and 86 replacement bus service. Metrolink tickets will be accepted.

Metrolink say normal service will resume as soon as possible.

A 3rd class service with 1st class prices. Rip up the track, tarmac it and put buses on it.
