HEALTH-conscious MP Graham Brady started Friday morning with a 90 minute pit-stop at the diagnostic healthcare centre on Denmark Street, Altrincham.
The Altrincham and Sale West MP arrived at the centre with an with an empty stomach, having fasted from 10pm the previous night in preparation for the 40 examinations that made up the health screening.
After urine and blood tests, Mr Brady was allowed to tuck into some breakfast before an extensive series of examinations, including measurements of his height, weight, and body mass index, a lung function test and an ECG.
After four hours the results were ready for Mr Brady's personal consultation with Diagnostic Healthcare's GP.
Liat Karni, managing director of Diagnostic Healthcare Ltd, said: "Early detection and prevention are the way forward in healthcare. Diagnostic Healthcare will bring potentially life-saving technology within reach of both private and NHS patients across the North West."
