Open day to celebrate crematorium anniversary

TO commemorate 50 years since the opening of Altrincham Crematorium, Trafford Council's bereavement services team is holding an open day on July 11.

The event, at the crematorium in Dunham Massey, runs from 10am to 4pm and includes a service of remembrance in the chapel at 1.30pm.

This is an opportunity for people to see how the service operates, and will include tours through the chapel and crematory.
