THE deadline has been extended in the search for Altrincham and Sale's top firms -but you’ll have to act fast.
The deadline for nominations for this year’s Altrincham and Sale Chamber of Commerce Business Awards has now been extended until August 24 to give more companies the opportunity to enter.
The awards are open to all businesses in the area, including non-chamber members.
The 2017 business awards, now in its sixth year, will be held on October 19 at the Cresta Court Hotel. The host this year will be radio presenter Darren Proctor.
The event is sponsored by Turkish Airlines and held in association with the Sale and Altrincham Messenger.
Guests on the evening will get the opportunity to win two return business class tickets with Turkish Airlines to travel anywhere in their vast network by participating in the heads and tails competition.
The raffle will benefit a chosen charity.
Businesses can nominate themselves, clients, customers or suppliers.

In the nomination from, in not more than 150 words, say who you are nominating and why they deserve recognition.
