THREE charities were boosted by the Altrincham Charity Spring Ball.

Eighty-nine people attended the glittering event at the Cresta Court Hotel, Altrincham, on April 27.

The evening raised more than £3,000 which will be split between Altrincham's Counselling and Family Centre, Altrincham in Bloom and the Rotary 'purple4polio' campaign, to eradicate polio worldwide.

There were more than 30 prizes won on the night.

RRG Altrincham provided a new Toyota C-HR 'free' for a weekend.

There was also seven nights in a luxury three bedroom villa for 6 people in Paphos Cyprus donated by Karen Wroe and won by Brian Soper.

The DJ on the night was Phil Wood.

After dinner the main act was Soul Provider, who played music from the 60s and 70s.

Each guest was given a “goody” bag worth more than £40.
