LEADING homewares retailer Dunelm will be moving to Broadheath on February 28 - and the move has created 60 new jobs.

Company bosses say the 30,000 sq ft Bridgewater Retail Park store will offer residents more than 20,000 home furnishing products, across homewares, furniture and garden.

Dunelm’s made to measure bespoke service will also be available, which allows shoppers to choose from more than 4,000 fabrics to create curtains, blinds and accessories.

Expert in-store advisers will be on hand to help provide customers with advice.

The new store manager at Dunelm Altrincham, Suzannah Bolton, said: “We are looking forward to becoming a new neighbour to the Altrincham community.

"There is a strong retail offering within the town but we’ve spotted a gap in the market for Dunelm’s extensive collection of homewares and hope we can cater for the diverse range of shoppers within the community.

“We have an exciting opening day planned and we hope the local community will join us at our official opening day on February 28.”

The new Altrincham store, which has free parking, will be open seven days a week.
