APEX Computing Services, a leading IT support provider in Broadheath, has marked its commitment to Manchester Carers with a very special Christmas present.

Having supported this charity for the past two and a half years, the company wanted to give something to the organisation that would last into 2017 and beyond.

Manchester Carers meets the needs of more than 60,000 carers in the region and it’s a cause close to the hearts of company directors Daniel Shone and Chris Gorman.

By putting them on the Cloud for hosting, backed by dedicated IT support for 18 months, the charity will be able to better spread its message throughout the region.

In 2016, the Apex Computing team participated in the charity’s Christmas raffle, which raised funds for the community services provided by Manchester Carers. This year, following on from the success of previous fundraising efforts, the team decided to help in another way - providing a lasting gift that would foster the growth of the organisation.

“We never cease to be amazed by the inspiring stories of adult carers in the Manchester Carers network. It’s a fantastic cause and we hope that our small contribution to the wonderful work of this charity will help to raise awareness and, ultimately, much-needed donations,” said director Daniel Shone.
