NHS Trafford Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is developing a new Health and Well-being Centre on the site of the former Altrincham Hospital, and is hosting a public information event on Tuesday, October 4 for people to drop-by and find out more about the project.
The event, between 3-7pm at Altrincham Town Hall, will have representatives available to answer your questions from Trafford CCG, Trafford Council, the project managers, developer and architects.
Demolition of the existing building has commenced, to make way for the three-floor development which will incorporate GP health services; a new and improved Altrincham Library and tourist information centre; the Trafford Co-ordination Centre; a mix of community services and therapies; a pharmacy; and clinical suites and training areas, including a minor surgery suite, alongside retail space and a café.
There will also be an underground car park with 100 spaces, five disabled bays and a cycle store.
If you cannot attend the drop-in, but would like to know more about the development, please contact Lauren Collins in the communications team at Trafford CCG: lauren.collins3@nhs.net; 0161 873 9500.
