THE Café in the Park launches its Café Friday Club on Friday, September 2with an open house.

Drop by between 10:30am and 12:30pm to meet the volunteers and learn more about the fun activities already planned.

All are welcome.

Jennie Crean, one of the co-ordinators and founders of the Café Friday Club, explained: “Our volunteers have already suggested some great activities. This is a creative club for the community—sewing, knitting, painting, singing, walking in the park, talking and swapping books—whatever there’s enthusiasm to do.

“We have a fantastic group of regular café users who want to have some fun together and meet people,” added Tom Fisher, manager of The Café.

“And there’s no pressure for those who'd rather just sit back and relax in good company. We’re looking forward to welcoming new friends as part of the Friday Café Club.”

The Café in the Park is a vibrant venue at The Counselling and Family Centre located in Stamford Park, 40 Mayors Road, Altrincham, WA15 9RP. The Café Friday Club is the latest activity in a flexible, welcoming space that is perfect for community groups, creative projects, and workshops.
