FROM mustard velvet armchairs to copper-coloured pineapples, from vintage leather sofas to stylish stag paintings, Altrincham’s newest interiors business Rose & Grey has it all.

Rose & Grey was launched eight years ago by husband and wife duo Guy and Lyndsey Goodger after a move from London to Altrincham.

It was a leap in the dark for both Guy and Lyndsey, neither having worked in the interiors industry, but their eye for style soon made their e-commerce home accessories and furniture company a roaring success.

The couple scour national and international trade shows for unique products, adding to their ever expanding range and constantly evolving with the trends.

They started off selling products from their home and over the years their product range has increased from 80 items to 2,000.

The success of the company – and the pull of interacting face-to-face with clients and customers – led them to the decision to open up a store in Altrincham.

Lyndsey said: “We wanted to have somewhere that customers can sit down on the gorgeous sofas and experience the products for themselves – the touch element is important.

“We are also really proud of Altrincham. It is a really exciting time for Altrincham and we are proud to be part of the community.”

The store is somewhat of a unique concept. The Atlantic Street store houses a curated collection of the couple’s favourite products from the website’s extensive portfolio.

It is divided into themed ‘rooms’ – currently a ‘Scandinavian’ room, a ‘Gentleman’s Club’ room, and ‘Romantic Industrial’ room – which will be refreshed to reflect changes in trends. There is also a dedicated lighting section and ‘creative corner’ for consultations with interior designers.

However, this is just a snapshot of Rose & Grey’s collections and a warehouse, housing the entire range, is attached to the store. Customers can browse the full range on iPads whilst in store or at their leisure at home and pick up the items on the day.

Lyndsey added: “We believe we have something new to offer and we are so excited about meeting our customers.”

The store, which opened to the public on Saturday June 4, will be holding a launch event on Saturday June 25.

Visitors can enjoy a Prosecco reception and 15 per cent off on the day (10am-4pm).

Rose & Grey opens Tuesday through Saturday, 10am-5pm. A car park is located in a courtyard to the right of the store. For more information visit roseandgrey.co.uk.
