Witnesses sought after two women subjected to violent bottle attack in Altrincham
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two women were subjected to a violent bottle attack on a Bank Holiday night out in Altrincham.
The incident occurred at Jaspers Wine Bar, in Kings Court, at around 2.30am on Monday May 2.
Two women were upstairs at the Railway Street venue when a woman unknown to them launched at them with a glass bottle.
She struck the one woman on the shoulder with the bottle, causing it to smash, and then attacked the injured woman’s friend with the shattered bottle.
