A 'KNOW Your Blood Pressure' day, organised by Altrincham Rotary Club was held at ASDA Broadheath.
More than 100 people had their blood pressure taken during the event on April 23.
The day was aimed at getting people to understand and recognise that high blood pressure increases the risk of a heart attack or stroke.
There are nearly 130,000 stroke deaths each year.
The importance of healthy eating and exercise were also highlighted.
