PETS at Home is marking its 25th anniversary this spring with free workshops and party fun for children at its Broadheath store.

The pet retailer is hosting a number of small furries and scales and fins party workshops every Saturday and Sunday until May 8. Attendees will get the chance to meet the animals, whilst in-store experts will teach children about the importance of responsible pet ownership.

To get everyone in the party mood, children can also join in a number of party games, including pin-the-tail on the pet pal, pet impression games, pass the pet parcel and many more. Partygoers can even make their own pet mask and everyone who attends will also be entered into a prize draw to win a fish tank or a small animal hutch: to assist with their first step on the way to pet ownership.

Pets at Home Altrincham store manager, Sarah Masters, says: “Here at Pets at Home, we’re thrilled to be celebrating our 25th birthday this year. So what better way to celebrate by bringing the kids into store to get involved with our free 25th birthday party kid’s workshops?”
