A YOUNG Altrincham woman who had always been in good health has died suddenly, after suffering a brain haemorrhage.

Thirty-year-old Andrea Dale's friends and family have been devastated by her loss.

The former Altrincham Girls' Grammr School pupil died on April 2, two days after being taken to hospital with worsening neck pain.

She'd had the pain for a couple of weeks but it had been diagnosed as an ear infection.

Her partner of seven years, Ashley Platt, 29, told Messenger: "She was young and healthy and had no issues.

"She was very bubbly and outgoing, always smiling,

"She was kind, polite and bright - just amazing."

The couple lived together in Altrincham and were saving up to buy their own house.

Ashley has set up a Just Giving page to collect donations for Headway, the brain injury charity - justgiving.com/Ashley-Platt

Property manager Ashley, said on the tribute page: “These donations will help in the research and development towards improving the already fantastic treatments available. There is always room for improvement and I believe you can help.”

Andrea and her brother Mark, now 26, were raised in Altrincham by parents Valerie and Andrew.

Andrea was a driving instructor and she set up her own Aspire driving school five years ago. She had taken on a second job, working for a security company at Manchester Air[port, to save for her and Ashley's future.

Mum, Valerie, spoke of Andrea's love of Altrincham.

“She loved this town and she was excited about her future here. She was saving up so that she could buy her first home in Altrincham. Sadly this dream will never come true."

Andrea’s funeral takes place at 10.20am on Tuesday, April 14, at Dunham Massey.
