AN 80-year-old Flixton woman was knocked down in Urmston on Saturday in a hit-and-run accident.
The pensioner was found in the road with a broken hip and injuries to her legs and elbow on Primrose Avenue at 11.50am.
It’s possible the woman was hit by a reversing car, of which the police yet have no details.
A force spokesman said on Monday CCTV footage was being studied to identify the vehicle and trace its owner.
