CHILDREN at Broomwood Primary School enjoyed a vigorous PE workout with Great Britain's Paralympic sprinter, Michael Churn.
Michael and his coach, Tony enthused and motivated the children to keep fit whilst raising money for Reuben's Retreat, a charity that supports children who have a life limiting and/or life threatening illness and their immediate family, Cancer Research and for the school.
Michael made the children more aware of Paralympic sport by sharing his sporting journey with cerebral palsy to become an inspirational Olympic gold medalist.
Louise Hossen Headteacher said: "It was a brilliant experience for all the children, both meeting a Paralympic Gold Medalist and being inspired to try a range of sporting activities"
