TRAVEL agents are pressing ahead with their appeal to help ‘one of their own’ who was killed in the Manchester Arena bomb attack.
The initiative was spearheaded by Altrincham travel agent Ken Garrity, after he discovered that those killed in the atrocity included North East travel agent Chloe Rutherford, aged 17.
Chloe and her boyfriend Liam Curry aged 19 were killed as they left the concert.
Travel agents have set up a JustGiving page to raise money for the victims’ families.They have set a target of £10,000 and so far have received £2,300 in donations.
They have also added the @together Forever - The Big Prize Draw' and sent out raffle tickets which can be purchased for £5 each for some great prizes.
The joint funeral of Chloe and Liam is today, Thursday.
