STARS were flying high in Altrincham on Friday as they attended the third Pink Ribbon Ball.

On March 24, Breast Cancer Now hosted the Pink Ribbon Ball Manchester under the wings of the Concorde G-BOAC aircraft at the Runway Visitor Park, Manchester Airport.

The star-studded evening, hosted by The Only Way is Essex’s Jessica Wright and Strictly Come Dancing winner, Ore Oduba, featured special performances by Britain’s Got Talent judge, Alesha Dixon and Scottish teen sensation, Tallia Storm.

Celebrity guests at the event included Emmerdale’s Hayley Tamaddon, Les Dennis, The Real Housewives of Cheshire’s Seema Malhotra and Stacey Forsey, The Apprentice’s Jessica Cunningham, Claire Merry and Jane Given.

Guests enjoyed a champagne reception, dinner and live entertainment. They also bid for items including a dining experience with celebrity Chef Tom Whitaker, and a five-night African adventure. The special fundraising evening raised money to help Breast Cancer Now fund research to stop women dying of breast cancer.

Alesha Dixon, said: “It was absolute honour to perform at the Pink Ribbon Ball Manchester and I thoroughly enjoyed performing under the wings of Concorde G-BOAC aircraft. I hope everyone had a fabulous evening.”

Tallia Storm, said: “I’m thrilled to support Breast Cancer Now at this fantastic fundraising event. The Pink Ribbon Ball has been a really special night.”

Breast Cancer Now is the largest breast cancer charity in the UK, dedicated to funding pioneering research into this devastating disease.
