FIRE crews burst into a burning building last week in search of occupants – but luckily no-one was hurt.
Three fire crews from Stretford, Sale and Altrincham were called to a flat fire in Stamford Place, in Sale, on Wednesday March 15 at 7.20pm.
On arrival, firefighters were told there may have been people still inside the flat and conducted a search. Luckily, the flat was empty.
Crews used a hose reel and a fan to extinguish the fire and clear smoke.
Firefighters were at the scene for approximately 40 minutes.
