THE Sale Art Zoo animals are making a cheeky comeback for two weeks only – so watch out for their pink tutus.

Two by Two are working with Vao Restaurant, Sale Library, Bean and Brush, Serendipitea and Costa Coffee to help raise awareness of Prevent Breast Cancer, who are based in the Nightingale Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital.

Prevent have been holding Paint Pink campaigns in different towns across Cheshire and Trafford and Sale has jumped on board.

Some of the much loved Sale Art Zoo animals will be wearing pink tutus to help raise awareness of the charity. Collection boxes will be available for donations.

Two by Two founder Zoe Taylor said: “It is great to be able to help Prevent. They are the only charity which focus on preventing cancer rather than curing.

"It is vital that we help them with their research so we can help our future generations live healthier lives. Putting tutus on our animals was a fun way for us to draw attention to the events and the fantastic work Prevent do.”

Vao Restaurant, at Sale Waterside, is holding a Pink Afternoon Tea Party on Saturday October 29 at 12.30pm for Prevent, which will include live entertainment, sweet and savoury treats and a glass of fizz. Stalls and raffles are being held to raise funds.
