THE Bollin Primary School on Apsley Grove in Bowdon has published a book detailing the history of the school from its opening day in September 1969 up to the present.
The book has been written by Chris King, who has worked at the Bollin as a supply teacher for the past few years.
Chris has a keen interest in local history and has also written similar books for other schools.
The book is illustrated in colour containing more than 150 photographs and interesting stories and is a great memento for any former pupils and staff.
