THE Greater Manchester Bright Futures SCITT is looking to attract a new generation of passionate and gifted teachers to inspire and help children to reach their full potential.

Anyone considering a career in early years, primary or secondary teaching is invited to come and meet the Greater Manchester Bright Futures SCITT team at two recruitment events:

27th April, SCITT Information Evening, Altrincham Grammar School for Girls, 7.30pm.

15th June, Manchester Graduate Recruitment Fair, Armitage Centre, Fallowfield.

The Greater Manchester Bright Futures SCITT opened in September 2015 delivering outstanding school-based, primary and secondary, initial teacher training through the Alliance for Learning; a partnership of 50 schools, colleges and universities led by Altrincham Grammar School for Girls, working in partnership with St Bede’s Primary Academy.

Kal Hodgson, SCITT Director and Assistant Head of Teaching School commented: “The high quality of our courses result from the very successful relationship between the university and our partner schools. Between us, we have achieved an unrivalled consistency and coherence of university-based teaching and school placement opportunities for student teachers. This ensures that our postgraduates continue to maintain a competitive edge in the job market.”
