YEAR 7 students from Victorious Athletes from Flixton Girls School participated at the Manchester Indoor Athletics competition - and achieved some impressive results.
The competition was open to 16 schools across Manchester taking part in a variety of events including shot put, long jump, high jump, sprint, distance and relay races.
Flixton's seven strong team's results included Brooke Wetherill, first in 60m sprint; Libby Cartledge, third in shot put; Ebony Riley, third in 60m sprint; and Jasmine Stockton, fourth in 800m.
Overall the team achieved sixth place in the competition.
