CUSTOMERS of a bank in Altrincham are being provided with a number to call their local branch.
The introduction of a local phone number for TSB’s branch in Altrincham will mean customers can now discuss their branch-related enquiries directly with TSB colleagues they are familiar with, by calling 0161 929 8880.
All other enquiries, including those relating to account details and recent transactions, are best directed to TSB’s central call centre on 0345 9758758, also a local rate number, where colleagues are available 24 hours a day to identify customers quickly and ensure a good service.
The move supports the bank’s commitment to local banking and earlier this year, TSB became the first national bank to replace all of its 0845 numbers with 0345.
The introduction of 0345 numbers means calls to Deborah McCormack, branch manager at Altrincham said: “Many banks make it difficult or expensive to contact them but TSB is doing things differently. Not only are all our phone numbers local rate, but now customers in Altrincham can call us directly if they need to.”
