A FIRE walk for charity will take place tomorrow night at the Roebuck Pub in Urmston.
Friends and relatives of Tracy Jillian Thornley, who sadly lost her battle with breast cancer last month aged 44, will literally walk over hot coals to raise funds for Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention.
Tracy’s friend, Vikee Jayne Shaw, and sister-in-law Angela Seeland and family organised the event, which Tracy originally planned to attend despite her condition, back in May.
The 54 plucky firewalkers, including some of the Genesis ladies, will have training from 7pm onwards with the fire walk scheduled for 9.30pm.
Angela’s husband, Rod, will be parking his removal lorry, painted pink for Genesis, at the pub to raise awareness.
There will also be a barbeque, tombola and raffle with prizes donated by local businesses, followed by a comedian and a band.
