HALE-based art gallery, Clark Art, hosted a successful three day exhibition entitled ‘A Northern Perspective”, hosted at the world-famous Manchester Etihad stadium.

The gallery was available to the public from June 14 until June 16, between 10.30am and 5pm.

It showcase eight highly coveted L.S. Lowry paintings and drawings worth £2.7 million in total, alongside works from Northern School artists past and present.

Clark Art owner, Bill Clark said: “This is the largest exhibition of northern art ever held in Manchester and the response to it has exceeded our expectations.

“It has been great to see hundreds of visitors coming from far and wide to enjoy the fantastic art work that is being showcased.

“We had a real mixture of football and art fans attending and we received positive feedback from everyone. The Etihad proved to be the perfect setting for the event and has been thoroughly enjoyable.”
