COMMUNITY groups and charities in Sale and Altrincham are being encouraged to apply for a donation from Wilko stores through the Helping Hands budget.
The retailer is offering either financial assistance or Wilko products to help with worthwhile community projects in the area.
Melanie Fothergill, store manager at Wilko, in Altrincham, said: “The Helping Hands scheme is all about supporting local projects and directly benefitting the lives of people who live and work close to our stores.”
Helping Hands application forms can be collected from The Square Shopping Centre or Stamford Quarter branches of the stores.
