4:30pm Sunday 4th May 2008

By Mark Wilkinson »

Bletchley Park, a quiet unobtrusive country mansion set in acres of land, in Buckinghamshire, just a few minutes' walk from the railway station and trains to London. During World War II, thousands of men and women toiled endlessly, day and night in the Park, doing vital work which is said to have shortened the war by several years.

What was so special about Bletchley Park and just what was "Britain's Best Kept Secret?"

The talk will start at 7:30pm - free to members 50p to non members. Timperley Village Hall, Stockport Road, Timperley.
