A COFFEE morning is being held in aid of Cancer Research UK in St Mary Magdalene Church Centre on the corner of Harboro Road and Moss Lane, Ashton-on-Mersey, Sale, on Saturday November 14, from 10am to 12 noon.
Admission £1. Christmas cards and goods, hand painted china, hand-made jewellery, books, Phoenix cards on sale, also coffee, tea, scones, cakes toasted tea cakes. Tombola and raffle.
Also the fund-raising group needs more helpers. If you could volunteer for an hour or two now and again contact the secretary, Jean, on 0161 973 9965.
