SALE and District Lions Club held its 35th Annual Golf Competition at Ashton on Mersey Golf Club and several teams of four golfers o raised money for charities.
President Linda Cresswell and Secretary Helen Tawil from Sale Lions Club presented a cheque for £1000 to Crossroads Care manager Tina Patterson and volunteers at their charity shop to help them to continue supporting carers.
