ALTRINCHAM is gearing up for a fantastic afternoon of free entertainment on Saturday, August 29, at the first Goose Green Summer Festival.
A stage adjacent to the Green Room will host a variety of acts throughout the day, beginning with the award-winning Cheshire Chord Company choir at 12 noon.
Away from the stage there will be plenty going on for all the family with free face-painting, canvas bag printing with Open Studios Altrincham and a treasure hunt.
Prints of watercolours of Goose Green and Altrincham scenes by local artist George Allen will be on sale, and fancy dress specialists Aura will be running a fun photo booth.
All of Goose Green’s food and drink businesses will be open.
It takes place from 12-5pm to celebrate the ‘all new’ Goose Green!
